Library

The library of the Institute of Mathematics serves the teachers and the students of the Faculty as well as other users. The Library provides materials and services to support academic programs. It owns about 26000 books, 600 titles of periodicals (about 65000 copies). Periodicals are fully included in the electronic database of COBISS.

Signature of the books

In the first 20 years of its existence, the signature of the books in the library was performed according to the following classification areas:

After that period, the signature of the books is entered according to the format (size). Periodicals have signature according to the country and format.

Services

Services of the Library are mainly reserved for the students and the academic staff of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, but its services and facilities are often used by students from other faculties as well. Within the library's reading room there are 50 seats and an internet access (2 seats).

The working hours of the Library is from 8:00 to 15:30 every working day.

Electronic sources

Electronic sources include online catalog that is connected to multiple library systems. Students have access to other libraries, especially with The National and University Library "St. Clement of Ohrid " in Skopje.
